Terms and Conditions\u00a0\u00a0for Students Membership<\/span><\/h3>\n

In the efforts to enhance interests of the younger generation and enhance their knowledge in the African Human Rights systems and particularly the African Court on Human and Peoples\u2019 Rights, the African Court Coalition offers FREE <\/b>Membership for University students who are citizens of any of the African Union countries. <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The following terms and conditions apply to University Students interested in applying for Membership with the African Court Coalition.<\/p>\n

TERMS & CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. A university student referred herein is any student who is enrolled in a recognized university, currently pursuing a first degree or a Master\u2019s degree in Law, Human Rights, International Human Rights Law, International Law or an equivalent discipline.<\/p>\n

2. Applicants must be university students who are citizens of any of the African Union countries.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Students should apply for \u2018Students Membership\u2019 on our website through This link:<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Student membership applications are open only once a year in the month of October, and approval are limited to a specific number each year.<\/p>\n

5. You will receive feedback on whether your membership application has been accepted or not approximately 30 days after submitting your application.<\/p>\n

6. The duration of the student membership is throughout the duration when a student is enrolled in university, and ends one year after a student\u2019s graduation. This gives an additional one-year free membership after graduation.<\/p>\n

7. To be eligible for a student membership you must confirm that you are in full or part-time education. You must be able to provide proof of your student status by uploading a student ID card when sending your application. We reserve the right to authenticate your status at any time via ID spot checks. We also reserve the right to cancel your membership with immediate effect upon proof that your student ID is invalid, or if you have provided false information.<\/p>\n

8. The Coalition will from time to time create special programs to enhance students\u2019 engagement with the African Human Rights system of which the already approved students\u2019 members will have to apply and granted approval for participation.<\/p>\n

9. Student membership is not an internship, nor should it create any expectations of future employment with the African Court Coalition. If you wish to apply for internship with the Coalition, please visit our Internship Programme webpage<\/a> <\/span>to learn more.<\/p>\n

10. You will be notified that your student membership expires three months in advance before it comes to an end. If you wish to continue with us on a paid membership once your student\u2019s membership expires, you will write to us via email through info@africancourtcoalition.org<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

11. If you wish to cancel your student\u2019s membership at anytime you should write to us via email through info@africancourtcoalition.org<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

12. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the student membership Terms and Conditions at any time and we shall take reasonable steps to send notifications via email. It is your responsibility to check your email at regular intervals for any changes made.<\/p>\n

13. We recommend that you print out a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your records and future reference.<\/p>\n
