Justice Blaise Tchikaya. In his keynote address, Justice Tchikaya described Arusha as the &lsquo;Capital of African Judicial Law&rsquo; and hailed the assembled stakeholders as the &lsquo;Architects of Visibility&rsquo;. \u00a0The convening was later on officially closed by the Vice Judge President, Lady Justice Chafika Bensaoula.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2026 Stakeholders\u2019 Platform yielded key general recommendations from the convening;<\/p><ul style=\"text-align: justify;\"><li>For the next phase of the Court\u2019s evolution, stronger implementation mechanisms, enhanced engagements with States, and structured dialogue with executive branches and other stakeholders will be essential to ensure that the Court\u2019s decisions translate into concrete improvements in people\u2019s lives;<\/li><li>Visibility and public trust &#8211; the Courts operate within ecosystems of perceptions, increased engagement with media, Civil Society, academic institutions, and national bar associations among other stakeholders, can demystify procedures and promote understanding of the Court\u2019s mandate. A well-informed public is more likely to view the Court not as distant, but as relevant;<\/li><li>The Courts\u2019 readiness is crucial in its procedural efficiency in determining and adjudicating emerging frontiers in the evolving complex areas of Artificial Intelligence and digital technology, climate and environmental justice, and Business and Human Rights. As conversations continue around these frontiers and their profound impacts in human rights, it is vital that the Court is well prepared structurally and procedurally to keep pace with these evolving needs that are within the Courts\u2019 broader mandate. \u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Platform also explored strategic practical ways in advancing women rights including the rights of women with disability from national level to the African Court, and strategic collaborations and future directions for gender-responsive adjudication at the African Court. Ultimately, the Platform provided an opportunity to ponder on strategic ways to navigate the transition from the currently existing Court towards the Malabo Protocol Court.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Platform culminated in a historic display of institutional synergy as delegates participated in the Official Opening of the 2026 Judicial Year of the African Court on March 2nd. The Opening of the Court was graced by the presence of the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama as the guest of Honour. President Mahama called upon African Union Member States to confidently engage with the African Court, implement the Court\u2019s judgements in good faith, and to those States which are yet to ratify the Protocol, and\/or deposit the Declaration to allow direct access for Individuals and NGOs to do so without further delay or fear.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Platform also provided a well-deserving opportunity for participants to recharge and socialize in the networking event at the Meru Forest Reserve, a natural paradise of Arusha.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Detailed resolutions and recommendations will be shared in due course for all partners to help us turn the dialogue into reality.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Become a member of the African Court Coalition today: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/africancourtcoalition.org\/join-us\/\">Join here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div id=\"e-n-tab-content-2138726542\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"e-n-tab-title-2138726542\" data-tab-index=\"2\" style=\"--n-tabs-title-order: 2;\" class=\" elementor-element elementor-element-c864fe8 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"c864fe8\" data-element_type=\"container\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dc925f3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dc925f3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Coalition pour la Cour africaine a conclu avec succ\u00e8s sa Plateforme des parties prenantes 2026, un rassemblement historique qui s&rsquo;est tenu du 26 f\u00e9vrier au 2 mars 2026 \u00e0 Arusha, en Tanzanie.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Organis\u00e9e en marge de la 80e Session ordinaire de la Cour africaine des droits de l\u2019homme et des peuples, la Plateforme s\u2019est tenue sous le th\u00e8me : <em><strong>\u00ab 20 ans de la Cour africaine : r\u00e9flexion sur les r\u00e9alisations, examen des d\u00e9fis et perspectives d\u2019avenir. \u00bb<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Des d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s de haut rang, notamment des repr\u00e9sentants d&rsquo;organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile (OSC), des ordres d&rsquo;avocats, des praticiens du droit, des repr\u00e9sentants d&rsquo;\u00c9tats, des institutions nationales des droits de l&rsquo;homme, des partenaires au d\u00e9veloppement, des universitaires, des \u00e9tudiants, des repr\u00e9sentants des organes de l&rsquo;Union Africaine (y compris la Cour africaine) et des m\u00e9dias, se sont r\u00e9unis au Centre de conf\u00e9rences international de l&rsquo;UPAP pour faire passer strat\u00e9giquement l&rsquo;agenda continental des droits de l&rsquo;homme du stade du dialogue \u00e0 celui de l&rsquo;action.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Plateforme a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement ouverte par le nouveau Pr\u00e9sident \u00e9lu de la Cour africaine, l&rsquo;Honorable Juge Blaise Tchikaya. Dans son discours d&rsquo;ouverture, le Juge Tchikaya a qualifi\u00e9 Arusha de \u00ab Capitale du droit judiciaire africain \u00bb et a salu\u00e9 les parties prenantes rassembl\u00e9es comme \u00e9tant les \u00ab\u00a0Architectes de la visibilit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. Le rassemblement a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement cl\u00f4tur\u00e9 par la Vice-Pr\u00e9sidente, l&rsquo;Honorable Juge Chafika Bensaoula.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Plateforme des parties prenantes 2026 a abouti aux recommandations g\u00e9n\u00e9rales cl\u00e9s suivantes :<\/p><ul style=\"text-align: justify;\"><li><strong>Mise en \u0153uvre et engagement:<\/strong> Pour la prochaine phase de l&rsquo;\u00e9volution de la Cour, des m\u00e9canismes de mise en \u0153uvre plus solides, un engagement accru avec les \u00c9tats et un dialogue structur\u00e9 avec les branches ex\u00e9cutives et les autres parties prenantes seront essentiels pour garantir que les d\u00e9cisions de la Cour se traduisent par des am\u00e9liorations concr\u00e8tes dans la vie des populations.<\/li><li><strong>Visibilit\u00e9 et confiance du public<\/strong>: Les tribunaux op\u00e8rent au sein d&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes de perceptions. Un engagement accru avec les m\u00e9dias, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, les institutions acad\u00e9miques et les barreaux nationaux peut d\u00e9mystifier les proc\u00e9dures et promouvoir la compr\u00e9hension du mandat de la Cour. Un public bien inform\u00e9 est plus susceptible de percevoir la Cour non pas comme une institution lointaine, mais comme une instance pertinente.<\/li><li><strong>Pr\u00e9paration aux nouveaux d\u00e9fis<\/strong>: La r\u00e9activit\u00e9 de la Cour est cruciale pour son efficacit\u00e9 proc\u00e9durale dans le jugement des nouvelles fronti\u00e8res du droit, telles que l&rsquo;intelligence artificielle et la technologie num\u00e9rique, la justice climatique et environnementale, ainsi que les entreprises et les droits de l&rsquo;homme. Alors que les d\u00e9bats se poursuivent sur ces enjeux et leurs impacts profonds, il est vital que la Cour soit pr\u00eate, structurellement et proc\u00e9duralement, \u00e0 suivre le rythme de ces besoins \u00e9volutifs qui s&rsquo;inscrivent dans son mandat \u00e9largi.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Plateforme a \u00e9galement explor\u00e9 des moyens strat\u00e9giques et pratiques pour faire progresser les droits des femmes, y compris les droits des femmes handicap\u00e9es, du niveau national \u00e0 la Cour africaine, ainsi que des collaborations strat\u00e9giques pour une justice sensible au genre. Enfin, la rencontre a permis de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir aux moyens de naviguer dans la transition de la Cour actuelle vers la Cour du Protocole de Malabo.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le point culminant de la Plateforme a \u00e9t\u00e9 une d\u00e9monstration historique de synergie institutionnelle lorsque les d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;Ouverture solennelle de l&rsquo;Ann\u00e9e Judiciaire 2026 de la Cour africaine, le 2 mars. Cette c\u00e9r\u00e9monie a \u00e9t\u00e9 honor\u00e9e par la pr\u00e9sence du Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique du Ghana, Son Excellence John Dramani Mahama, en tant qu&rsquo;invit\u00e9 d&rsquo;honneur. Le Pr\u00e9sident Mahama a appel\u00e9 les \u00c9tats membres de l&rsquo;Union africaine \u00e0 s&rsquo;engager avec confiance aupr\u00e8s de la Cour africaine, \u00e0 ex\u00e9cuter ses arr\u00eats de bonne foi et, pour les \u00c9tats qui n&rsquo;ont pas encore ratifi\u00e9 le Protocole ou d\u00e9pos\u00e9 la D\u00e9claration permettant l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s direct des individus et des ONG, \u00e0 le faire sans plus tarder ni crainte.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Plateforme a \u00e9galement offert aux participants l&rsquo;occasion de se ressourcer et de socialiser lors d&rsquo;un \u00e9v\u00e9nement de r\u00e9seautage \u00e0 la r\u00e9serve foresti\u00e8re du Mont Meru, un paradis naturel d&rsquo;Arusha.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Des r\u00e9solutions et
